What you should know

  • Students who take this course must be enrolled in the corequisite online English 1A course.
  • L10 Online is a distance education course made accessible through WebCT.
  • Library 10 is a graded, one-unit, self-paced class, with specific due dates. It is a co-requisite of English 1A.
  • There is at least one scheduled orientation with your English 1A class. At that time, you will be given an overview of the objectives of the course, as well as assignment due dates.
  • You may take this course for credit-no credit. The college deadline for choosing this option is October 4th.. Contact me before the deadline, if you wish to take this course for credit/no credit instead of for a letter grade.

Dropping Library 10

  • Library 10 is a co-requisite with English 1A; you may not drop Library 10 unless you are also dropping English 1A.
  • If you drop English 1A, you will automatically be dropped from the Library 10 section that is linked to your English 1A class.
  • So, if you do drop English 1A and choose to complete Library 10, you must re-enroll in the current Independent section of Library 10. If you do complete the Independent section of Library 10 and decide to take English 1A in the future, you will not be able to use HawkTalk or CyberReg. You will need to do a "walk-in" registration for English 1A if you have previously completed Library 10.
